Matters regarding admission of students in Model School and Model Day Schools for the academic year 2022-23


Following are the guidelines for admission in Model School for Model School and Model Day Schools for the academic year  for the next academic year. As the entrance examination in the model school is not possible as per the RTE Act, the students will have to prepare the merit list on the basis of their previous standard marks and give admission.  (Merit list should be prepared on the basis of Std-08 mark sheet for admission in Std-8, Merit list should be made on the basis of Std-08 mark sheet for admission in Std-08.  Enrollment of children who have obtained more than marks should be done in Model School and Model Day Schools.  Model Day School will not have to admit more than 50 students per class (Std. 09 to 08) and 40 students per class (Std. 09 to 12). 3. In educationally backward talukas where Model School and Model  The first admission should be given to the students of the same taluka as the day schools.  Students will have to be admitted as per the reservation of the district fixed by the government and in this regard the existing rules of the social welfare department will have to be followed.











If the number of students for the reserved space is not sufficient then the students of other categories will have to be admitted from the merit list.  7. The accreditation of the school from which the students come for admission should be obtained from the office of the Director of Primary Education if it is a primary school and if it is a secondary higher secondary school then it should be obtained as per the provision specified by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.  8. According to the merit list, the parents of the eligible students should be informed by letter and telephone and they should be asked to give a letter of guarantee within the time limit.  If he does not get admission within the stipulated time limit  (does not give guarantee letter) then admission will be considered as cancellation.  The process of admitting students from the waiting list has to be done against those who do not get admission within the stipulated time.  According to the existing provisions, 18 casual leave is sanctioned for the month of January to December of the calendar year.  While the Department of Education has sanctioned such leave for the academic year instead of the calendar year for the secondary teachers, it was considered to grant casual leave to the primary school teachers according to the academic year instead of the calendar year in the same way as the secondary school teachers.  At the end of the adult deliberation, the primary teachers serving under the district panchayat education committees and town primary education committees of the state will now have to grant them casual leave according to the academic year (June to May) instead of the calendar year.  These wise provisions will also apply to education assistants.

 Vidyanjali is a special initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India to develop schools across the country through the Vidyanjali program in association with the school community and the private sector.  The Vidyanjali program will connect schools with various volunteers such as young professionals, school alumni and retired teachers, government officials / professionals, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and all others.

 A portal has been prepared by the Ministry of Education, Government of India for the implementation of this program.  The portal can be accessed through the website https://vidyanjali.education.gov.in.  The school will have to register itself on the Vidyanjali portal along with its primary information.  After registration, the school will have to post a request with details of service / activity or assets material resources for the required external co-operation.  Volunteers who are registered on the portal.  They will show their interest on the service / activity or assets content device request portal based on the request post. Volunteer will be authorized by the school to participate in the service activity or assets content equipment.

 The service under the Vidyanjali program i.e. Yoga, Art & Craft, Vocational Education, Language Education, Assistance to Children with Special Needs, Request Post for help in preparation like Competitive Exams.

In addition to counselors and special educators, counselors for mental health and well-being to participate in sports and cultural programs, sponsorship for matters such as health and hygiene resources, self-defense training for girls, etc.  As well as be able to post requests for a variety of resources.

 At the district level, for the implementation of the program as well as effective management, the Deputy District Education Officer will have to handle the work as the District Nodal Officer, the login details for the district will be made available by the State Office.  It will be seen that all the schools of the district are registered on the portal.  For more information, please visit the portal with USER MANUAL.  This is accompanied by a guide to the program.
